Employer FAQ

  1. Sign up to start posting writing OR design projects.

  2. Freelancers will submit proposals to your project. Note that writing freelancers work for $5/hour. Design freelancers work for $15/hour.

  3. It’s up to you to interview writers or designers (via our chat) and then decide on who to hire.

Note: The freelancers  on this platform are considered entry-level. So don’t expect people to have a ton of relevant experience. What you can expect from each freelancer is an advanced understanding of writing content and design. As well as a willingness to quickly understand and excel at the project you need them to do for you.

Each project should work in monthly cycles. Every 30 days your project should end so your freelancer gets paid.

If you are having issues with your freelancer, raise a dispute through your dashboard.

Before you hire someone, you have to make a payment of either $400 (writing) or $1,200 (designer). That would be one month of 80 working hours.

Once you start working with a hired freelancer, you should release their payment every 30 days. You can buy more hours for a new month of work on a new project.

When you are done working with a freelancer, change the project’s status to complete and please leave a review for the freelancer.

Download, buy a subscription, and use HubStaff or Harvest time-tracking app with your freelancer.

Once the writer or designer shows they have worked the time you paid for, then please change the project status to complete which will release the freelancer’s funds.

This is a serious requirement for using our website. If you cannot afford a Hubstaff or Harvest subscription, please wait until you can before hiring on this platform.
